If a child is missing from the collection point at their school, Grange Kidz will consult the relevant staff at the school as to the child’s whereabouts.

If the child was absent from school, and Grange Kidz has not heard otherwise from the parent/carer, it will be assumed that they will not be attending the club.

If the child was at school, staff will make all efforts to try and find the child.  However, if the child has left the school building, Grange Kidz cannot compromise the safety of the other children and will contact the parent/guardian, who will be responsible for finding the child.

If Grange Kidz cannot reach anyone on the emergency contact list for the child, the police will be contacted.

IT IS THE PARENT/GUARDIANS RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT GRANGE KIDZ IF THEIR CHILD WILL BE ABSENT.
